"Uninvited" is a song written and recorded by Alanis Morissette. Its the soundtrack of the 1998 film City of Angels. It was Morissette's first new recording since her international debut album Jagged Little Pill (1995), it was released as a single from the album in March 1998. The song, which was prominently featured in the film's trailer, is driven by three piano notes and builds to an instrumental climax.
